Still Crafting, Still Crying (But Now With a Label Printer)

Well, the good news is: I’m still in business.
The bad news is: I have discovered the unique horror of accidentally ironing fusible interfacing to my desk. Twice.

Since launching this tiny tornado of a business, I’ve learned a few things:

  • Labels can jam printers in seventeen different ways.
  • There is no such thing as too many shipping boxes—until they completely block access to your coffee maker.
  • And customers? They’re not just “orders” in the system. They’re actual humans who say the kindest things and make it all feel real.

Some days, I feel like a boss. Other days, I cry in the car because a fabric pattern was discontinued and the universe feels personally responsible. Balance!

Also, in breaking news: my dogs (Chief Canine Officers) now sighs dramatically when I say the word “inventory.” I’m 90% sure they thinks I should’ve gone into accounting.

But here’s what’s new and exciting:
Ive found a few new products
📦 I streamlined my packaging (read: bought more bubble wrap than is reasonable)
📊 I even tried my hand at analytics. Then closed the tab and lit a candle.

Running a creative business is equal parts joy, chaos, and sheer stubbornness. Every sale feels like a small miracle. Every “add to cart” is a little spark.

So if you’ve been following along, cheering me on, or just silently judging my color palette from afar—thank you. This weird little dream is stitching itself together, one imperfect seam at a time.

Next goal: stop measuring fabric with “vibes” and start using an actual ruler.
(And maybe finally list those potholders I made three weeks ago.)

Stay tuned. Stay scrappy. And keep crafting like you mean it.
